Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Opara Studios ("Opara Studios," "we," "us," or "our") at oparastudios.com and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

The Service

Opara Studios provides tools for visual artists to build, customize, and publish portfolio websites, manage artwork and press content, accept inquiries, and optionally sell work or subscribe to paid plans.

Eligibility and accounts

• You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure.
• You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
• You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you upload or create through the Service (including images, text, and artwork information). You grant Opara Studios a non-exclusive license to host, display, transmit, and process your content solely to operate and improve the Service.

You agree that your content:

• Is yours to share or you have permission to use it
• Does not infringe intellectual property or other rights of others
• Does not violate applicable law or these Terms

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes
• Upload malware or attempt to disrupt or access systems without authorization
• Harass, impersonate, or mislead others
• Scrape or abuse the Service in ways that harm performance or other users

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose risk to the Service or other users.

Subscriptions and payments

Paid features are billed through our payment provider (Paystack). Prices, billing cycles, and plan features are shown at checkout or on your billing page. Subscriptions renew according to the plan you select unless cancelled in accordance with our billing flows.

Refunds, if any, are handled according to the policies displayed at purchase and applicable law. You are responsible for applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

Published sites and sales

If you publish a site or enable sales or inquiry features, you are responsible for your dealings with collectors, buyers, and visitors. Opara Studios provides infrastructure but is not a party to transactions between you and third parties unless explicitly stated.

Third-party services

The Service integrates with third-party providers (such as Google Sign-In, Cloudinary, Paystack, and hosting partners). Your use of those features may also be subject to their terms and policies. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle data with those providers.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Opara Studios and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or one hundred U.S. dollars (or local equivalent).

Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may also be communicated by email or in-product notice where appropriate.
